Was Born
In 2021, CEO David Hewlett identified a real problem that almost everyone faces: too many unlabeled storage boxes and bins, and too much time wasted searching through them.
He envisioned a simple solution, attach a QR code sticker to any container, scan it with your phone, and instantly build a searchable digital inventory of everything you own.
SmartLabels was born from that idea. Since launch, the team has continuously expanded the platform, improved the app, and added new label styles and colors to serve homes, offices, and businesses of all sizes.
